The M.S. in Industrial Engineering is designed to prepare students for a successful career in industry as well as the option to further their study at the doctoral level. Building on Cal Poly’s strength in Learn by Doing and project-based engineering education, students work closely with industry to solve real-world problems. Students sharpen both technical knowledge and non-technical skills like project management and communication which are key to success in any professional field.
